Hi All

I’ve decided to start my blog up again for the hell of it. I’m working on getting my old posts from over a year ago moved, not sure how big a problem that’s going to be.

For those unfamiliar with me, I’m a 19 year old high school graduate. I’ve lived all over the country and have lived in MA for the past four years. I’m a professional poker player who is taking time off between high school and college to travel the world and play poker.

I’m going to try to update this blog regularly with pictures, graphs, and non poker related stuff too. I quit my last blog over a year ago and have hundreds of pictures from my poker trips since, so I’ll write some short trip reports and get those up. There should be plenty of poker content and hand histories and analysis and updates on my poker results and business ventures. I’ve recently become really obsessed with lifting and physical fitness, so I also plan on using this blog as a log to keep track of my workouts and daily routine.

    Hey Jeff,

How come you dont do any more videos for CardRunners. I think your the best teacher they had on the site. How about doing another video ?

hi jeff looking forward to reading a blog by another great poker player,
    i have 1 question though /
After reading a post you put here you said that you have and will not play on poker stars no more .
Is this true (which i hope not ) or was you just letting off a bit of steam?
    kind regards Andy

    Jeff,

Sorry to hear about your quitting Stars due to RGM inadequacies. I lurked your game from the rail many times and learned some things.
However, although my skill level is not near yours, I too face the same All-In
equity %s and its weird. I have 50 or MORE all ins deep (700 or more players w/50 or less left) going in as a 3-1 fav or better and came up short. How this can happen is beyond luck. Is Stars rigged ? I dont know, but it too doesnt happen as much on FTP for me either. Just though I would let you know it happed to me too.
